How does Recapd find the photos?
In the Recapd app you set the event's start and end time. Afterwards the app looks through each guest's camera roll for photos and videos taken in that window and preselects them. Guests check the selection and tap share. Guests who join in the browser pick their photos themselves.
We celebrate in several houses. Does that matter?
No. Recapd looks at when a photo was taken, not where. Anyone in the event can share from wherever they celebrated.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code or open the link and add photos straight from the browser. They can also use the iPhone or Android app if they prefer.
Is it free?
Yes, for events up to 12 people. Bigger events need Pro on the host's account only. Guests always join free.
