How does Recapd find the photos?
In the Recapd app you set the event's start and end time. Afterwards the app looks through each guest's camera roll for photos and videos taken in that window and preselects them. Guests check the selection and tap share. Guests who join in the browser pick their photos themselves.
Can we make sure nothing is shared publicly?
Yes. Recapd has no public feed or profiles. The album is visible only to the people you share the code with, and the host can remove any photo.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code or open the link and add photos straight from the browser. They can also use the iPhone or Android app if they prefer.
How long are the photos kept?
The album stays up for 14 days after the event so everyone can download full-resolution copies. Then it is deleted automatically.
