How does Recapd find the photos?
In the Recapd app you set the event's start and end time. Afterwards the app looks through each guest's camera roll for photos and videos taken in that window and preselects them. Guests check the selection and tap share. Guests who join in the browser pick their photos themselves.
We have a photographer. Why use Recapd too?
The photographer covers the planned moments. Guests catch the candid ones at their tables and on the dance floor, and Recapd collects those into one album.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code or open the link and add photos straight from the browser. They can also use the iPhone or Android app if they prefer.
How long are the photos kept?
The album stays up for 14 days after the event so everyone can download full-resolution copies. Then it is deleted automatically.
